Terms and Conditions of Service

Please read these terms carefully before confirming your booking with us

These terms and conditions govern all bookings made with Visit To Tanzania Destinations Ltd and form the basis of your contractual agreement with us. By confirming a booking and paying a deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms on behalf of yourself and all members of your travelling party.

Payment Policy

All prices quoted are in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. The following payment schedule applies to all confirmed bookings:

Accepted Payment Methods

Bank Transfer: International wire transfer to our USD or TSH account. Details in Section 5.
Credit Card: Visa, Mastercard, and other major cards accepted via secure online transfer.
Cash (USD): Accepted for last-minute bookings. USD cash must be clean,undamaged, and issued after 2006.

Please note: All bank charges and transfer fees are the responsibility of the client. Payments are only considered received once the full amount has cleared into our account. Please send proof of payment to info@visittotanzania.com or WhatsApp +255 686 769 235 immediately after making a transfer.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans sometimes change. Should you need to cancel your booking, please notify us immediately in writing to info@visittotanzania.com. Cancellations are only effective upon our written acknowledgement. The following forfeiture schedule applies based on the number of days prior to your departure date on which written cancellation is received:

For bookings involving non-refundable components such as Kilimanjaro climb permits, hot air balloon safaris, or specific lodge reservations, additional supplier cancellation fees may apply regardless of the above schedule. These will be clearly communicated at the time of booking confirmation.

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that includes cover for trip cancellation, curtailment, medical emergencies, and evacuation. Visit To Tanzania Destinations Ltd is not responsible for losses arising from circumstances beyond our control including illness, injury, weather events, or changes in government travel advisories.

Quotation Excludes

The following items are not included in any quotation unless explicitly stated otherwise in your individual itinerary:

Exclusion Items	Details
Visa Fees	Entry visa costs and related charges are the sole responsibility of the client.
Guide and Driver	The recommended minimum is USD 25 per day per driver or guide.
Gratuities	For groups of more than 10 persons, USD 7 per person per day is the recommended minimum. Tipping remains entirely at the client's discretion.
Inoculations and Personal Insurance	Vaccination costs, malaria prophylaxis, and all personal travel or medical insurance is the client's responsibility.
Items of a Personal Nature	Personal expenditure including beverages, alcoholic drinks,telephone calls, laundry, postage, and similar personal items.
Flights and Departure Taxes	International and domestic flights, airport departure taxes, and all airline-related levies unless expressly included in the quoted Itinerary.
Holiday Surcharges	Surcharges applicable during peak periods such as Christmas,New Year, and Easter where levied by accommodations or suppliers.
Additional Activities	Any activity, excursion, or service not explicitly listed in the agreed itinerary.

Amendment Changes

Should you wish to make changes to a confirmed booking, we will do our best to accommodate your request subject to availability. All amendment requests must be submitted in writing. Changes made within 30 days of departure may incur additional costs depending on supplier terms.

Visit To Tanzania Destinations Ltd reserves the right to make minor adjustments to itineraries where necessary due to weather, road conditions, wildlife movement, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will always substitute with an experience of equal or greater value.

General Conditions

Passports and Visas: It is the client’s sole responsibility to hold a valid passport with at least six months validity beyond the tour end date, and to obtain all necessary visas and travel documents before departure. Visit To Tanzania Destinations Ltd accepts no liability for clients unable to travel due to invalid or missing documentation.

Health and Vaccinations: Clients are responsible for ensuring they meet all health and vaccination requirements for Tanzania. We recommend consulting a travel health clinic at least six weeks before departure. Malaria prophylaxis, Yellow Fever vaccination, and comprehensive travel insurance are strongly advised for all travellers.

Travel Insurance: Travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, trip cancellation, and loss of personal belongings is strongly recommended for all clients. We reserve the right to request proof of insurance before a tour commences.

Force Majeure: Visit To Tanzania Destinations Ltd accepts no liability for cancellations, alterations, or additional costs arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control including natural disasters, civil unrest, government travel restrictions, pandemics, or industrial action.
