These terms and conditions govern all bookings made with Visit To Tanzania Destinations Ltd and form the basis of your contractual agreement with us. By confirming a booking and paying a deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms on behalf of yourself and all members of your travelling party.
All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. A deposit of 40% of the total invoice is due at the time of booking confirmation, with the remaining 60% due no later than 30 days before departure. For late bookings made within 30 days of departure, 100% of the total invoice is due in full at the time of booking. We accept bank transfer, Credit Card via Visa or Mastercard, and cash in USD provided the notes are clean and issued after 2006. All bank charges are the client’s responsibility. We understand that plans sometimes change. If you need to cancel, please let us know in writing as soon as possible. Cancellations made 90 to 61 days before departure will forfeit 20% of the total cost. Cancellations made 60 to 31 days before departure will forfeit 50%.
Cancellations made 30 days or less before departure will forfeit 100% with no refund applicable. Please note that non-refundable components such as Kilimanjaro permits, balloon safaris and specific lodge reservations may carry additional supplier fees on top of the above.
Visit To Tanzania Destinations Ltd reserves the right to use suitable vehicles including 4×4 Land Cruisers, Land Rovers or mini-buses depending on road and weather conditions. All vehicles are regularly maintained and meet safety standards. The company is not liable for delays or damage unless caused by negligence.
While every effort is made to follow the planned itinerary, the company reserves the right to make changes due to circumstances beyond our control such as weather, road conditions or accommodation unavailability. Clients will be informed of any changes as early as possible.
Listed accommodations reflect the intended arrangements. In case of unavailability, similar or upgraded alternatives will be sourced with prior client notification. Final confirmations are subject to availability at the time of booking.
We ask that clients submit any dietary requirements at the time of booking. We do our best to accommodate most dietary needs in collaboration with our partner lodges. Additional charges may apply for special requests that require custom preparation.
Visit To Tanzania Destinations Ltd may take photographs during activities for promotional use. If you would prefer not to be photographed please let us know before your trip.
It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure their passport is valid for at least six months beyond the travel date. The company is not liable for denial of entry due to invalid documentation.
We strongly recommend that all travellers take out comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, emergency medical expenses, evacuation, repatriation and personal belongings. Visit To Tanzania Destinations Ltd will not be held responsible for any losses arising from unforeseen events not covered by insurance.
