Day to day itinerary

A holiday in Tanzania safari begins at the Arusha hotel booked by our best guides in Tanzania. Get ready to set out at 7:30 AM with convenient pickup. The sturdy 4x4 vehicle is perfect for spotting animals and has a pop top roof. A local guide will always accompany you, adding a personal touch to your trip. Starting your safari with an exhilarating game drive ensures that you get the most out of the Tarangire Burr in the morning. Start off early to arrive at the park by 10 AM, Attach all of your gorp to the side of the car and buckle your seat belt as you wind through rural sections of the scenery. Expect ancient baobab trees, elephant herds alongside the Tarangire River, zebras, buffalos, more than 500 bird species, and the lush greenery of swamps and woodlands. This place is where Tarangire is known for at the “Elephant Capital”. Savannah hearing blanketed stars and warm afternoons proves that Tarangire’s night sky is equally mesmerizing. Get out of bed at 6:30 Am and enjoy a wholesome breakfast served at the lodge. Breakfast comprises fresh fruits, eggs, coffee, and so much more -these will ensure you pack for an exciting day. Start your journey by departing the lodge by 7:30 Am so that you can reach the Lake Manyara National Park by 10 AM. The park may be small, but it definitely has the spotlight for its tree climbing lions and countless types of birds. During your morning game drive, you will have scenic views of the lake which is home to leaping elephants that can be seen putting on a show. After capturing the mesmerizing views of flamingos, leopards, and even hippos, take a relaxing break under the acacia trees and enjoy lunch packs along the beautiful Rift Valley Escarpment. Between 1:00 PM and 4:00PM, the afternoon drive can actively capture buffalo, elephants, and even baboons roaming freely in forests and open plains.The nearby mid-range lodge which is like Lake Manyara Serena Lodge is where you will relax in a private room that comes with a balcony. Looking back at the wildlife sightings you were fortunate to experience while enjoying a relaxing dinner of roasted meats, fresh salads will truly be forgotten.

Take breakfast at 6:00 AM before leaving at 7:00 AM for a panoramic drive, roughly about 145 kilometers, across the Ngorongoro Conservation Area bound for the Serengeti National Park. Expect to arrive at about 11:00 AM to embrace the diverse wildlife and scenery. The Great Migration and a multitude of animal species are not the only things making this park iconic, but the breathtaking golden plains that stretch along the horizon certainly contribute as well. Your guide will help you navigate the area while you excitedly search for migratory groups. By noon, your lunch will be premade sandwiches, fruit, and juice which you will consume at the Naabi Hill Gate. By 12:30 PM, your afternoon game drive will start with the Central Serengeti. Lookout for copjes hiding lions, swift cheetahs running across the grasslands, and if you are lucky enough, massive herds of wildebeests migrating between June and October. Expect to check in at your accommodation by 5:30 PM at one of the tented camps such as the Serengeti Kati Kati Camp that offer tents with real beds and hot showers. A buffet dinner featuring grilled fish, rice, and vegetables will be served to you at 7:00 PM. All of this while looking at the canopy of stars with the sound of lion roars echoing in the distance.

Wherever possible, it is best to include the optional sunrise light breakfast game drive – a serene experience on its own and a perfect way to start your day at 5:30 AM Leos and leopards prowling the woods promise jaw-dropping sights. Return to camp around 8:00 AM, just in time for breakfast. At 9 AM hop into the game drive and head in the direction of the riverbanks where hippos, crocodiles, and oversized rocks holding the perfect pose for photographs await. It’s time for some fuel packed lunch too, how about some wraps and fruit served near a waterhole at 1 PM? Adventures are boundless, until 5 PM: you can set your eyes on the Big Five and the plains in their most beautiful and raw version. Coupled with the migration season, they offer exquisite sights. Dinner at around 6 PM comprises a hearty meal featuring beef stew served alongside local bread. The day merges into a calm night capped off with a comfy stay in your tent, to the haunting sounds of the bush.

Enjoy your breakfast at 7:00 AM. After breakfast, head out at 8:00 AM for another exciting day in the Serengeti. Your guide will focus on specific regions such as the Seronera Valley, which is full of wildlife. From 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, morning drives are conducted that showcase elephants feeding and with a bit of luck, a cheetah hunt. Giraffes will be visible around the silhouette, grazing at the horizon. Enjoy lunch at noon which includes a yummy assortment of foods. Be on the lookout during the 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM timeframe, and once again around 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. These periods are known as active hours for Tanzania's iconic wildlife. So, grab your camera and enjoy the peaceful recovery at the village. The warm shower at 5:30 PM is sure to recharge you from a long day of exploration. To end the day, immerse yourself in the wonderful specialty dinner, which includes grilled tilapia with mango salsa served on a table for two. This is the perfect way to conclude a thrilling day exploring wildlife.

the camp, it will take about 60 Kilometers to reach. Around 8:00 AM we will arrive at the iconic UNESCO world heritage site. By 8:30 AM head to the thrilling game drive. The best part is it only costs $25/per person! The stunning view is unmatched with the iconic black rhino alongside him are the entire pride of lions, elephant herds, and flamingos resting on Lake Magadi’s bay. At about 11:30 have a packed lunch that gives you the opportunity to get near the hippos while they are having fun in the water and around 1 PM it will be time to go back to Arusha and the drive would usually take around 3-4 hours. If time permits, we can make a small stop to take some beautiful pictures. Right after 5 PM arrive and get dropped off at airport clocking the memorable driving safari.
