Day to day itinerary
Your Tanzania Family Safari is a visit with Visit to Tanzania. The adventure starts at 0730, where you will be picked up and welcomed in a 4x4 safari vehicle. Your vehicle will come outfitted with a pop-up roof that is useful for viewing wildlife. After a briefing from your guide, get ready for a 2 and a half to three hour drive that will take you 120 kilometers through the countryside. Try to be at Tanagire national park by 10:00. A morning game drive along the Tanagire River is bound to boarder you with enormous elephant herds bathing, giraffes catching acacia leaves, and zebras grazing beside age old baobab trees. When the time reads, 12:30, you will be provided with a picnic. Get ready to be placed on the banks of the river where sandwiches, fruits, and juice will be served. On the second day, we depart at six-thirty AM to make it to the lodge on time for breakfast. The family will enjoy a spectacular feast which includes eggs, fresh fruits, and pancakes. We will then hit the road with Visit to Tanzania during the magic hour, seven-thirty AM. By eleven thirty AM, we will be in the scenic Ngorongoro Conservational Area and get a glimpse of the scenic highland views along with some remarkable Maasai.
Each guest will then receive a filling lunch pack which includes ice cold juice and sandwiches, along with the famous bananas of the region.
