Day to day itinerary
Day 1 :
Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater
Your trip begins with Visit to Tanzania team picking you up at eight am from your hotel in Arusha. You will go on a half an hour game drive and visit Lake Manyara National Park. This national park is famous for the unique species of trees and wildlife. Your guide from Visit to Tanzania will share much more with you on the way there and tell you about the painting like landscapes of the region. There will be a stop about half way through the drive right next to a gentle slope that leads into the valley. The view there is stunning. You will then head straight towards the national park where you will do some game viewing activities. Visit to Tanzania will help you arrange the timing of meals so that you get the best experience of the national park. You should then be able to see the Elephants by the time you reach the acacias and some of the lions lounging rest. While the flamingos are adding more pink to the side of the Lake Magadi, we will also be getting more birds.
Take a break at 1:30 PM for lunch, where you will eat hearty sandwiches, fruit, and juice while watching hippos wonder about in a nearby pool. There are buffalos loitering around as well too. Make sure to admire the wildlife, and pack up around 3:30 PM after spotting leopards hiding in the shadows, and zebras, as well as wildebeests, walking around. You will head to the crater rim by 4PM. After that, head to Simba Campsite which primarily serves budget travelers. You will get a private tent with basic shared amenities that your team provided after arriving around 4:30 PM. After dinner is served at 6 PM, which will be grilled chicken, ugali, and vegetables, unwind by the campfire and enjoy the bedazzling stars in the clear highland sky while listening to wildlife calls. Make sure to have the best experience while your team attends to you.

On your second day, don’t forget to bring your camera with you as the nature around and structure of the lake itself easily can budge you to take photos. Wake up at 06:00 to the fresh crater rim morning. After preparing breakfast from Visit to Tanzania, which consists of tea, fruit, and bread alongside bush breakfast, I departed at 06:30. Driving down towards the Manyara National Park, with a guesstimate of 50 km, it would take me an hour to drive from 06:30 to reach the park by 07:30.
The Park awaits you to offer the first full-day game drive with your Visit to Tanzania guide dawned at 07:45. Beginning alongside the gates of the Manyara National Park that overlook the lake in which Flamingo’s stride while exhibiting grace along the soda shallow waters, it is alive with ‘boars’” that endure throughout the park. Afterwards, move forward to the groundwater forest, where you could perhaps be lucky and glimpse the appealing Lake Manyara tree climbing lions that rests at the top of the acacia branches. If so, they can definitely make your wildlife experience an unforgettable one. Moving along, you can see elephants browsing beneath heavily wooded mahogany. The sight of baboons gracefully dancing to the rhythm of nature will amuse you.
Your safari tour will proceed after lunch. You get to enjoy a packed picnic lunch made up of sandwiches, bananas, and water while savoring views of giraffes and buffalo grazing in the distance. Take in the view while seated under an acacia tree next to the hot springs from 12:30 to 13:30. The game drive resumes at 13:30 and carries to 15:30. You’ll explore over 400 bird species including hornbills and storks alongside the open plains and acacia woodlands. There’s a chance you may see hyenas or cheetahs hunting as well. Make sure to leave the park by 4 pm to arrive in Arusha by 18:30. If time permits, a stop at the roadside curio shop won’t hurt anyone. Your hotel and KIA will be waiting for you at the site.
